Hair Dye Can Suddenly Cause a Skin Rash

After dyeing your hair with hair dye, the skin can itch or turn red; this rash is mostly an allergy to the oxidative dye contained in the hair dye, and it can appear suddenly even in people who had no problem many times before. Even a mild rash gets worse if you keep using the dye, so stop and go to a hospital right away if itching or pain appears; anyone who has ever had a rash or itching must not use hair dye again, not even a salon's, and when you dye your hair yourself with a store-bought dye, do a patch test two days before, every time.
