Hair dye can cause a rash on your head or face; most of these rashes are an allergy, and even people who have been fine until now can suddenly get one. If it itches, stop using the dye and see a doctor right away. Anyone who has had a rash or itching even once must not use hair dye again, not even at a salon; when you dye your hair yourself with a store-bought dye, do a patch test two days before, every time.
