Refill Prescriptions: One Prescription, Up to Three Times
しょほうせんは薬をもらうための紙です。ふつうのしょほうせんは1回しか使えませんが、リフィルしょほうせんは3回まで使えます。
医者に見てもらうのは1回だけです。2回目からは、医者に見てもらわないでやっきょくで薬をもらいます。病院に行く回数や待つ時間を少なくできるので、はたらいている人には便利かもしれません。
ただし、病気のようすがおちついている人だけが使えます。使えるかどうかは医者がきめます。出せない薬もあります。
しょほうせんはつぎに使うまでなくさないでください。体のぐあいがかわったら、きかんの中でも医者に見てもらってください。使いたい人は、まずかかりつけの医者にそうだんしてください。

With a refill prescription you can use one prescription up to three times: you see the doctor once, and from the second time you receive the medicine at the pharmacy without an examination, which can reduce hospital visits and waiting time, so it may be convenient for working people. Only patients whose condition is stable can use it, the doctor decides, and some medicines cannot be prescribed this way; keep the prescription until the next use, see the doctor if your condition changes even within the period, and talk to your regular doctor first.
