Follow the Rules When You Play at the Sea
日本のうみには、ルールがあります。アワビ、ナマコ、シラスウナギは、とらないでください。シラスウナギは、ウナギの子どもです。この3つは、じぶんで食べるだけでも、だめです。つれたときは、すぐにうみへかえしてください。この3つをとった人には、おもいばつがあります。ばつのお金は、3,000万円までです。アサリやワカメ、タコなどにも、多くのばしょでルールがあります。かってにとらないでください。外国人もおなじです。つりをする前に、そのばしょのルールを見てください。

Check your understanding after reading
In Japan you must not catch abalone, sea cucumbers or baby eels, even just to eat yourself, and if you hook one you should put it back in the sea right away. Clams, seaweed and octopus are also off-limits in many places, and the rules apply to foreigners too.
