きしょうちょうは、火山を24時間見ています。あぶないふんかがおこりそうなときなどに、ふんかけいほうを出します。これは、テレビやラジオでもわかります。
火山のちかくにすんでいますか。「火山ぼうさいマップ」を見てください。すんでいるまちがつくったちずです。あぶないところと、にげるところを、しらべておきましょう。
山にのぼる前にも、火山のじょうほうをたしかめてください。

A volcanic eruption can put lives in danger. The Japan Meteorological Agency watches volcanoes 24 hours a day and issues an eruption warning when a dangerous eruption seems likely; you can also learn of it on TV and radio. If you live near a volcano, look at the volcanic hazard map made by your town and check the dangerous places and where to escape to; check volcano information before climbing a mountain too.
